80% of food business owners surveyed reported that rising food and ingredient costs negatively impacted their profitability in 2025. 72.1% expect costs to continue rising in 2026.
Food Truck Operators Feel Optimistic
With 58.4% of food truck operators reporting growth in 2025, 54.3% plan to expand their operations this year. Only 7% say they’ll scale back in 2026.
